Shimmer and Shine are genies that live in our world although they are from a far off fantasy land and while they don’t reside in a lamp, they do grant wishes. Shimmer and Shine are not very accomplished at the spells they perform and their magic mostly goes wrong causing them lots of problems they have to somehow sort out. This they usually manage to do with the help of their human friend, Leah, who is a good problem solver. The program is educational while being lots of vibrant fun.
