What Is Laser Tag?

Laser tag is an action-packed, non-contact shooting game that functions by using infra-red light. The specially designed pistols discharge infra-red beams that are detected by infra-red receivers either on a target or by sensors on a vest worn by the players. Games can be played indoors or out and often have military mission-style formats to make them more interesting. Laser tag teams compete against each other to avoid capture or elimination or may have to take part in a rescue or the retrieval of a previously designated object such as a flag.
