Petting Zoos
Fly By Fun’s mobile petting zoo brings ducks, goats, lambs, chickens and a baby alpaca to kids birthday parties and corporate events in Sydney and Melbourne, with no set travel limit. The handler brings the enclosure, straw bales, and food and water for the animals, and stays with them the whole time. Bookings are a minimum of 2 hours, and we bring a smaller or larger zoo to suit the size of your event, so there’s no strict limit on how many children can join in. Allow an area of about 4 metres by 4 metres for the enclosure. Hand sanitiser is provided. The handler holds a current Working With Children Check and public liability insurance, and every quote is tailored to your event.

How long does the petting zoo stay?
Bookings are a minimum of 2 hours. Longer bookings suit bigger events.
How many children can visit the petting zoo?
There’s no strict limit. We bring a smaller or larger zoo depending on the size of your event.
How much space does the petting zoo need?
Allow an area of about 4 metres by 4 metres for the enclosure. A larger zoo for a bigger event needs more room.
Is the petting zoo hygienic and safe for young children?
Hand sanitiser is provided. The animals are used to being handled by strangers, and the handler stays with them the whole time.
Is the petting zoo handler checked and insured?
Every handler has had background checks and holds a current Working With Children Check and public liability insurance.
Do you offer pony rides?
Pony rides are available in Sydney only. You can book them on their own or together with the petting zoo.
How far ahead should I book the petting zoo?
Booking 4 to 6 weeks ahead is best, especially for weekends and school holidays.
