Two to three hours is generally enough time for children to play games with their friends, engage in activities, and sing happy birthday before they start to get overwhelmed and tired.
More often than not, six year olds do not have a strict sleeping schedule. This means there is more flexibility when choosing a start time for the birthday party than in previous years.
In saying this, it’s important to keep your specific child’s behaviour patterns in mind. For example, if your child usually has more energy in the morning, they’ll be more likely to crash in the afternoon – so, a mid-morning (10am) party would better suit your child.
We recommend making the booking so that our entertainers can arrive 15-30 minutes after the party has started. That way, all children have arrived – the initial excitement has settled (slightly), and it means that the entertainer can get right to work entertaining and playing with the children from the moment they arrive.
